NewHope Baptist Preschool shares the vision of the Victorian Framework (below) and the Blueprint for Education and early Childhood Development: Every young Victorian thrives, learns and grows to enjoy a productive, rewarding and fulfilling life, while contributing to the local and global communities.

To support children in this journey, we provide a play-based environment where each child can experience a sense of ‘Belonging’ and ‘Being’, valuing childhood as a time for young children to simply just ‘be’ as they explore, create, interact and make sense of their world. We encourage active inquiry and problem solving, fostering discovery, persistence and success in each child’s ongoing journey of ‘Becoming’.

Our curriculum observes and reflects on the learning outcomes in the areas of: Identity, Community, Wellbeing, Learning and Communication. Children learn about themselves and construct their own identity within the context of their families and communities. This includes their relationships with people, places and things and the actions and responses of others (Belonging, Being and Becoming – The Early Years Learning Framework for Australia p.20).

NewHope Baptist Preschool is committed to meeting the needs of the community in which we operate, by providing a quality service. Our strong links to NewHope Baptist Church enable families the opportunity to access services such as Playgroups, Music Programs, Counselling, Pastoral Care, Food Hampers, Courses-for-life, Soccer and the Middleground Café.
